Written Directions

Route starts on Ben Howard Rd off of Route 203 between Duvall and Monroe, WA. From there take Ben Howard Rd east until you get to Sultan, WA.

Scenery

Cascade foothills, woods and farmland, Skykomish river.

Drive Enjoyment

Very curvy road with lots of hills along the way. Road surface is pretty good but there are lots of driveways around bends so you need to be careful. Also, a few dirt roads connect to this main road so watch for loose gravel in certain areas.

Tourism Opportunities

Nothing but farmland and woods really. There is a state run boat launch that sometimes has a porta potty available. Its a short ride between two towns with amenities, Monroe and Sultan, WA.

To make the ride a bit longer, continue straight at the stop sign at Mann Rd. and continue onto 164th Street SE for another 3.8 miles. The road dead ends at a great view of the foothills. This half is better than the first in my opinion.

Nice road, as of June 10 was very clean. If there is traffic backing up going towards Seattle from the pass, this makes a great way to get out of the crawl.
