Written Directions

From Conte Farms in Tabernacle, NJ (a pick it yourself farm) follow State Route 532 east. 532 is a nice quiet asphalt road, NO traffic lights for about 14 miles. At first stop sign turn right into the quaint town of Chadsworth, NJ. You are now on State Route 563. Continue on SR 563 for about 20 miles. (About 9 miles into SR 563 you'll find a gas station.) Nice scenery. On your left are Cranberry bogs owned mostly by Ocean Spray. No traffic lights!! Turn right onto State Route 542 and continue about 15 mins. to Batso, NJ. It's a State Park with bathroom facilities and some vending machines. You can continue to Route 206 which is a 4 lange State Highway... no big deal nothing much to see or loop back to Tabernacle, NJ. In general is a nice relaxing ride and very little traffic. Have a great ride.

Scenery

Quiet country rode with nice country scenery. And, you'll drive by and be able to see something you probably have never seen before - "Cranberry Bogs" along the way (owned by the company Ocean Springs).

Drive Enjoyment

Some gentle curves but pretty flat. All asphalt in good condition (which for NJ is saying a lot!!) and absolutely no traffic lights, Speed limit is 55 mph

Tourism Opportunities

Not too many amenities and only 1 gas station, so make sure to fill up before starting.

Sorry - left off the comment on the first review post (and couldn't edit!).

I've used MC roads in 20 states now and it's clear people rate along a curve of what other riding is available in the state.

However, I went out of my way for a "4.0" ride that ... while it may be better than chugging through Newark ... was flat, crowded and uninteresting. I was very bummed as it took me a long time to get there ... and should have followed my original plan of just wandering along the smaller roads in the pine barrens.

Sorry for the negativity!

Good ride. As mentioned before it's very basic. Some nice views. A few sections to open the throttle. Very low traffic for being jersey. Which is nice. I stopped on the side of the road at 1 point for 5 minutes and only had 1 car pass me.
It's a good ride. Take it and enjoy it!

Never rode this area before, and it was a little wet out in the beginning, but it ended up being a beautiful ride through the forest. You'll see blueberry fields, cranberry bogs, some abandoned farm houses and gas stations, and an old Ocean Spray warehouse.

It was a very easy, fairly non-technical ride. The speed limit is around 45-55 in most areas, but there are some long, empty roads where you can really get some speed safely. There were a good amount of bikers out there today (mainly cruisers), and the roads are surprisingly clean. Traffic was extremely light for the most part.

Really enjoyed this route and I'll be doing it again in warmer weather.
