Fun road, the unmaintained bit mentioned above is fun but have to be very careful with all of the blind corners, bumps, and horse manure scattered about the road. Very nice view coming out of the hills towards Livermore.

Nice narrow twisty on the east side of Mount Diablo. Take the swooping Vasco Rd. from Livermore to Brentwood for Brunch at MJ's Downtown Cafe and then head east to pick up this route. Nice scenic half-day ride in the East Bay.

Narrow, twisty road through the valley on the east side of Mount Diablo. No place to stop but the road is not that long. Plenty of places to take a break in Livermore, CA. Views coming out of the foothills are tough to beat in Alameda County. Pavement could be a bit better, but that's what suspension is for.
