Written Directions

Enter highway 40 at Radisson, WI. Turn south until Bloomer,WI is reached.

Scenery

This route passes beautiful scenery including parks, lakes, farms, and small towns.

Drive Enjoyment

Well kept pavement without wear and tear expected on local small town roads. Many curves and hills are present throughout the route.

Tourism Opportunities

A few small towns will be passed with gas stations or small bars and grills. Parks are also along this route, which provide great stops to stop and stretch.

Motorcycle Type : Touring
One of our favorite rides. Not terribly technical, but enough corners to keep it interesting. There's a gas stop in Bruce and a refreshment stop at Shep's Tavern in Island Lake. Nice scenery, but watch out for wildlife. We've seen bear twice this year and always see deer.

Very nice road through Northern Wisconsin along the Chippewa River. Curvy in spots and in good condition.
