Written Directions

Starting in Sterling, head west on Church. Stay on it as it turns to Waxpool, then Ashburn Farm and finally Sycolin Rd. Turn left on Rt. 7 and exit on Rt. 15. Take the first left to head towards Loudoun County HS. Turn left to take the scenic route to Route 9 (you can also take Rt 7 directly to Rt 9). Turn left onto Stony Point Rd just after passing through Hillsboro. Turn left at the next stop sign to head to Round Hill. At the stop sign in Round Hill, turn right onto Business Rt 7 and IMMEDIATELY turn left onto Airmont Rd. Turn left on Snickersville Turnpike. Take Lime Kiln Rd (stay straight as Snickersville bears right) to Rt 15 North. Turn right onto Evergreen Mills Rd. Turn left onto Ryan Rd., left onto Loudoun County Pkwy and right onto Waxpool. Waxpool turns into Church Rd. Turn right onto Holly to get back to Sterling Blvd.

Beautiful views of the mountains and country farmlands, a few small towns, a couple of wineries.

Drive Enjoyment

Roads are in good shape. Lime Kiln Rd has some nice curves as it follows meandering Goose Creek.

Tourism Opportunities

Not too long of a ride but there a few places you can stop at along the way. There's a couple of wineries along the way too.
