Scenery
This is the quickest exit of Kerrville to calm winding roads of 1341. You will avoid any busy traffic all the way to Fredericksburg. There are a few places to stop for food, drink, or rest. On that list beginning in Kerrville is Basement Brewers, Toonstone roadside concession, Old Tunnel Bat Cave for a light hike, Alamo Springs Cafe for fantastic iced tea and one of the best burgers in Texas, and on to Alstadt Brewery for a great restaurant and the best German Beer made in Texas. At that point, you are a brief moment from Luckenback....which should need no introduction.
Drive Enjoyment
These roads have enough curves to keep sporty bike interested. Think "mid-range power", as you may encounter bicyclists, farm equipment, narrow sections, or loose gravel. There are sufficient safe passing zones, so be patient.
Tourism Opportunities
It's a quick run of some nice bucket list places and some lesser known spots. You can take care of hunger pains, relieve your thirst, or even go hiking at the Old Tunnel Bat Cave.
Motorcycle Road Additional info
Pay attention for the interchange in Comfort, TX. But if you get lost there, you should find a few coffee or food spots. Or just pop "Camp Verde" into your GPS to go some where else that is pretty nice for Brunch and Coffees.
