Written Directions

Start out in Jim Thorpe, PA and head west on Route 54. Stay on this all the way until it brings you up into Danville, PA.

Scenery

A great country road trip from Jim Thorpe to Danville, PA. The roads vary, some are brand new some are old but all are fine to ride on, none are unfriendly to bikes.

Drive Enjoyment

Lots of twists and turns ups and downs, a fun road to ride, pass some really nice national parks. A great country road trip with the roads generally in great shape with not much traffic.

Tourism Opportunities

Gas food hotels, no need to worry. Nothing special just local stuff.

Just finished ride weekend of 5/11/14. Rode from Jim Thorpe to Mount Carmel. Traffic was worse than US 209. Got off to ride 125 and Gold Mine Rd. No traffic, Much more fun.
