Written Directions
Proceed to the intersection of MO-100 and Hwy M, approximately 2 miles west of the I-44/MO-100 Washington interchange. Go south on Hwy M for 0.2 miles, then turn right onto the Saint Louis Rock Road. Follow the road for 5.6 miles to the intersection with Hwy V, approximately halfway between MO-100 and MO-47.
Scenery
The road follows the rolling hills of Franklin County past a mix of open farm fields and the stretches of tree-lined road.
Drive Enjoyment
The route is full of gentle curves with few straight sections, and nearly continuous mild elevation changes. There are a few tighter, more technical curves to watch out for. The road surface is well maintained rolled asphalt.
Tourism Opportunities
The route itself doesn't have any tourist opportunities, although Villa Ridge, near the beginning, and the nearby towns of Washington (north of the east end) and Union (near the west end) have many restaurants, shops, and historical sites.
Motorcycle Road Additional info
This route is a nice, less travelled alternative to the eastern half of Hwy V or to Hwy AT/US 50 to get from Hwy 100 to Hwy 47.
