Written Directions
From exit 183 on I-70 (Jonesburg), head south on Hwy Y (N 1st St). In 0.3 miles, turn right onto E Booneslick Rd/Old U.S. 40 W to continue on Hwy Y. Continue for 1.5 miles, then turn left to continue on Hwy Y. Follow the road for 13 miles until the intersection with MO-19.
Scenery
The route travels through the rolling hills of Mid Missouri. The route is a mix of tree-lined road and open fields and yards, with some very nice views when cresting ridge/hill tops, and good fall color.
Drive Enjoyment
This is definitely a cruising route, with mostly gentle curves and rolling hills with a handful of tighter 25 MPH curves. The road surface is well maintained rolled asphalt.
Tourism Opportunities
There aren't any tourism opportunities along the route itself, except at the very beginning in Jonesburg, which has a few bars and shops.
Motorcycle Road Additional info
This is a nice alternative route when heading to MO-19 south to Hermann when taking I-70 from the Saint Louis metro area.
