Written Directions
The route starts at exit 6 of I-64/US-40/US-61 (Winghaven Blvd/Hwy DD). Head west on Hwy DD and continue for 9.5 miles to the intersection with MO-94, which is 1.5 north of Defiance.
Scenery
The route travels through the St. Charles County exurbs, past homes on large wooded lots. The route is largely tree-lined or passing through deep woods, over rolling hills and through creek valleys.
Drive Enjoyment
The road is full of rolling hills and easy curves. Some attention is needed at the beginning of the route for traffic entering and exiting the road from adjacent neighborhoods. The road is well maintained rolled asphalt.
Tourism Opportunities
The route ends just outside of Defiance, MO, which is home to Defiance Ridge Vineyards, Good News Brewing Company, Circle 6 Restaurant, the Defiance Roadhouse, and Stone Ledge Distillery.
Motorcycle Road Additional info
This route is a nice alternative to MO-94 from I-64/Weldon Springs to Defiance, especially on busy summer weekends.
