Written Directions

Take your best route to the intersection of Hwy AC and CC (1.6 miles from the intersection of Hwy H and Hwy AC, or 3 miles from the intersection of MO-185 and Hwy AC). Proceed north on Hwy CC for 9.5 miles, to the town of Leslie. Upon entering Leslie, follow the main road which will make a series of right and left turns, to the intersection with US 50.

Scenery

The route travels on a tree lined road over hills and valleys of the mid-Missouri farmland, passing over the Bourbeuse River, Ausbin Creek, and Big Creek. Flowering trees in the spring and brilliant fall colors make those the best times to ride this route, while the extensive tree cover makes it a pleasant ride during the hot summer months.

Drive Enjoyment

This is a very curvy (without being too technically challenging) and hilly road, with several curves in the 25 MPH range and most in the 35-50 MPH range. The pavement is well maintained rolled asphalt with the occasional patch and/or cracks.

Tourism Opportunities

Near the southern end of the route, about a mile down Champion City Road, is the Mill Rock Vineyard Winery. At the north end of the route, the town of Leslie has the Leslie Depot restaurant.

Motorcycle Road Additional info

This route is a hidden gem, as both ends are effective hidden from the main roads nearby (Hwy H, MO-185, and US 50), but it is definitely worth the effort to find and ride.
