Written Directions

The route starts at the intersection of Hunning Road and W. Rock Creek Road, just east of the intersection of Hwy 30 and Hwy PP/W. Rock Creek Rd., in High Ridge, MO, just south of St. Louis in Jefferson County. Take Hunning Rd north for 0.5 miles. Stay right to remain on Hunning Rd., and continue for another 0.7 miles. Turn right to remain on Hunning Rd., and continue for 1.9 miles. Turn left onto Old Sugar Creek Rd. Continue for 1.2 miles. Turn left to continue on Old Sugar Creek Rd. Follow the road for 1.7 miles to the end of the road at the intersection of Hwy 30 in Fenton, MO.

Scenery

The route goes through deep woods just to the east of Hwy 30 and right next to Sugar Creek for a few miles.

Drive Enjoyment

A nice combination of tight, technical turns and more gentle curves, with some significant changes of elevation. The road is mostly well maintained chip and seal pavement and asphalt. There are some places where you might encounter gravel washouts from intersecting driveways if there have been recent rains.

Tourism Opportunities

Both the start of the route in High Ridge and the end of the route in Fenton have numerous dining and shopping venues.
