Scenery

Great means to experience some highway and some state parks of Iowa. See the Great Plains bison and North American elk in Jester Park along with lake views and twisty back roads.

Drive Enjoyment

Speed limits through the park at 20-25mph with some highway riding at 55mph. Average speed limit of the ride is 40mph. 50/50 split between straight 55mph highway roads and curvy low speed roads.

Tourism Opportunities

You have the shops in the Polk City downtown, the visitor center and viewing area in Jester Park, plenty of pull-offs for Saylorville Lake. Drive by Big Creek State Park so excellent chance to visit the pull spillway and scenic overlook as well.

Motorcycle Road Additional info

Good beginner riding with about an hour worth of riding without lots of speed or highly technical riding.
