Prior to the renovation and opening the Blue Ridge Bed & Breakfast and Organic Farm, Scott and Cara Higginbotham were of the corporate business world. Both left the office life years ago to become charter boat captains aboard a luxury sailing catamaran in the Caribbean. Having sailed the islands extensively, they still find great joy in the life on the sea and spend a few months every winter there."
