The New McR Version 10.0

I've been working hard with a team of programers to push through this major revamp of the website. For those of you that don't know, MotorcycleRoads.com (McR) has been around for over 20 years now.  And, I basically wrote the first version by hand in HTML back when it was basically a couple of pages that listed my favorite motorcycle roads around the USA.  Over the years I began to upgrade the site and it quickly became too technically advanced for me to do any of the coding myself when I upgraded the site to a first generation content management system (CMS) (the fancy name for a website that specializes in taking contributions (reviews, photos, videos, etc) from website visitors (like you).  But that first generation CMS had been showing its age for years but I simply didn't want to take the plunge and upgrade to something much more modern and sustainable.  But this year, with the help of some generous GoFundMe donors, I was able to raise about a third of the funding I needed to spin up a project to completely revamp the website and here we are ... McR V10.0 beta (still working some bugs out) version is the site you are visiting today.  I've still got a lot of work to do and I'm sure you'll see some bugs crawling around here and there but the bottom line is, I am on the cusp of a major step forward with this Version 10 and over the next few weeks and months I'll be introducing you all to the site, it's new look, improved feel, and added functionality.  I hope you like the new site and I hope you visit often and tell all your riding friends about it!

Thanks!
