Scenery

This is a nice little ride around Lake Perry just north or Lawrence, KS. We rode from Perry to Valley Falls then back to Lawrence. This route has some nice views of Perry lake with some small changes in elevation. Lots of trees and the roads are decent. The west side of the lake offers a nice ride through Perry State Park.

Drive Enjoyment

All of the route is paved but there are some older areas that require some attention. For the most part they are average.

Tourism Opportunities

There are a few gas stations and a couple marinas that offer services certain times of the year.

Motorcycle Road Additional info

We stopped in historic Vally Falls and at lunch at the Flamingo. The downtown area of the town is very charming with cobblestone roads.

I made this ride the other day in kind of a backwards order from the map. Its nice and scenic and probably one of my favs in the area. One thing to add though. Valley falls has a family owned and operated motorcycle repair shop. Ive used them in the past and I am happy with the work. Its on Broadway near sycamore

I do this run every couple weeks, always see a lot of other bikes. I take all the loops along the shore and through the parks. Makes for about 100 mile loop back to home. Very relaxing.

A very excellent loop that has some nice curves. There is very little if any traffic most of the time except as you get onto some of the more main roads, but don't take the chance on cutting corners on the blind curves just in case. All in all a very fun little ride.
