Written Directions

Just north of Homosassa Springs is a town called Cutlers. In Cutlers (off or US Highway 19) you'll W. Ozello Trail (Also known as State Route 494).

Scenery

Water, twisties and lots more water. This great hidden little route just about 60 miles north of Tampa and offers some great Gulf Coast riding. Lots of great side roads to explore as there are many other roads to ride in this area. Lots of water & Great for pictures and having lunch at Pecks Port Cove. Let me know and I would love to make the ride with you. I am 5 minutes from the road -

Drive Enjoyment

Very good, a few bridges and lots of twisties.

Tourism Opportunities

Pecks Old Port Cove restaurant on the water out toward the end is a great place to eat - great food!

Nice twisties, well paved road surface and great scenery. The bar at the end: Peck's Old Port Cove is a tourist trap, not worth the stop. Better hit up Sleepy Hallow Fish Camp near Inverness.

i live 1 mile from Ozello trail, ride it daily mostly at night, awesome road for Florida ( not flat and straight ) if your new to the road there are some thing to keep in mind. in the turns it is best to stay to the right side of the lane because people pulling boats tend to come into the opposing lane. and the wild life are plenty (deer, hogs, bobcat, just to name a few ). some curve do build up sand so be careful of your speed in them. great ride and the scenery is awesome. some areas you have canals on both sides. just be careful i have seen that road bite alot of riders
