Written Directions

From Hundred, WV make the turn onto WV 7 off of WV US 250. From New Martinsville, WV turn onto WV 7 off of WV 2.

By Hundred, WV the road has many hills that drop down into the valley as you head west. You'll feel the humidity rise as you dip down and snake along the creeks in the area. A fairly scenic road...

Drive Enjoyment

The road is in average to good condition. There's no point in the road that gets out of hand via gravel or potholes. Twisty out east and more into sweepers as you head west.

Tourism Opportunities

Pretty much none. Your destination or start point are where you're going to want to get gas or food. No real landmarks in the area, either.

Motorcycle Road Additional info

A video will be coming for this road in 2014. ^_^

I give this road a 3.5 actually, it's front and rear loaded, the middle of this ride is decent enough but the most fun to be had is west of 250 and east of New Martinsville. The pavement is good and it doesn't drop down to boring even in the middle, and is thus a good solid ride or connector road for your route loops that you would try.

Update from West Virginia’s Road Ranger (July 31st, 2020): As of June 2020 this road is in fair to good condition from 250 to Barker Run Road. Beyond that I can’t say. As usual, check out www.wv511.org for any construction that may be around.
