Written Directions

This ride starts in Baltic Ohio on State Route 651 West. Reset your trip odometer at the intersection of State Route 93 and State Route 651. Continue on 651, 3.9 miles to New Bedford. Continue straight through New Bedford on Coshocton County 12 to Holmes County 600. At 4.8 miles bear left on Holmes County 59. At 10.4 miles go straight on Holmes County 19. At 12.2 miles cross State Route 83 continuing on Holmes County 150. At 15.7 miles turn left on Holmes County 35. At 18.6 miles continue straight across US Route 62 into Killbuck Ohio

Scenery

This ride takes you through some old world Amish Country. Many panoramic vistas, a windmill, an Amish school house and the highlight of the ride, The Legends Of Music Barn at 12.8 mile from the start, https://www.facebook.com/LegendsOfMusicBarn. At 17 miles if it's a clear day you can see The Conesville towers off to your left. They are 21.5 miles away.

Drive Enjoyment

The roads are typical Amish Country roads. Horse debris and wagon wheel chuck holes to the right side of the road. STAY TO THE CENTER OF THE ROAD AND SLOW DOWN. The worst section is just outside of New Bedford.

Tourism Opportunities

There's fuel (may only have regular gas) and food in Baltic. https://www.mdkitchen.com/ is a great place to eat. These places may not be open on Sundays. In Killbuck you can find a nice picnic lunch at Quick Check Foods. They have a few tables. The Marathon gas station is closed but the pumps are turned on and you can fuel if you have a credit card.
