Written Directions

From Exit 18 off I-89 head north on Route 120 toward Hanover, NH where you will pick up Rt 10 North along the Connecticut River through Hanover, Lyme, Orford, Haverhill to the Jct of Rt 302 and Rt 10. Here you will find a great Log Cabin Diner with easy prices and great food. We make it a round trip from Enfield, NH for lunch and it runs about 85 to 90 miles roundtrip.

Plenty of trees, farms, the river, rock cliffs along the river and small towns. Roads are mostly very good pavement a few short sections get a little rough. Not a lot of restrooms once you leave Hanover. Very nice winding and hilly roads with plenty of old country charm and a great lunch or breakfast in Woodsville (left on Rt 302 100 yds). Nice 50 MPH riding most of the way.

Drive Enjoyment

Roads are winding with plenty of hills. Most of the road is recently paved, but there are a few short sections with seasonal rough areas.

Tourism Opportunities

Plenty of beautiful scenery, not too many amenities. 2-3 general stores about at 10 mile intervals.

Motorcycle Road Additional info

In Woodsville, NH Rt 302 is a gateway to the White Mountains and endless miles of additional riding.
