I understand the fun of this route and I'm glad I did it. I give it above average because of the uniqueness of it having no inlets. Honestly the other routes in the area were better. Far more scenic and still fun and challenging to ride. I would choose Cherohola Skyway over this anyday.

My Triumph handled the curves well and made me feel like I was at home in the UK. Lovely ride

It’s a great challenging road which lives up to the hype. There are so many nice bikes and cars up there to view as well.

What else needs to be said? It's the Dragon. Epic ride. Lots of hairpin turns, beautiful riverside scenery, and a gift shop on either end of the route. Even if you don't hot dog the ride, keep your head on a swivel because folks will be ripping through the corners, pushing their capacity to handle their machines. If you're touring, use the pull outs to let faster drivers get by.

Been riding the dragons tale for years always loved taken the twist and turns of the 318 curves in 11miles. And the scenery is great. Also be sure to stop at the Historic Tapoco Lodge and Tavern great food and scenery south of the Deals Gap on highway 129 here is the address 14981 Tapoco Road
Robbinsville, NC 28771.

The traffic seems to get busier each year. A decade ago it was a dream ride.

Took a group of 3 bikes and a trike through. we all had a blast. only casualty was a pair of glasses that fell off the bike after a quick stop on the side of the rode coming from Cherokee. It was a good time and many smiles had by all after.
2 of us rode it the next day, i found that if you are coming down the 129 from the Harley shop the curves are tighter, and floor boards were scraped, but that's the point. We had a blast and look forward to it again.

Too many old men in European supercars. It's a nice ride, but do it during the early morning hours on weekdays to avoid the suicidal knuckleheads. Be sure to stop at Deal's Gap to see the Tree Of Shame.

Was finally able to ride it for the first time. Great ride and highly recommend. Just be careful of those traveling the other direction, they might cross the centerline.

I rode it from the north to the south, and then south to north. I did this on the morning of my birthday this year, Aug 20th. Then rode it from north to south again, the next day, I want to ride it again. I didn't want to come back honestly, I would have liked to have stayed in Pigeon forge longer.
