Best twisties in all of Quebec (even better than the Tail of the Dragon I daresay!)! Like-new road conditions, lots of fast corners, cheap daily entry fee of 8$ (40$ for the whole season from mid-May to mid-October!) and best of all no cops :)

This is an excellent ride. I'd put in the list of top ten rides in Canada. This is 65 kms of excellent paved highway, winding through the forests and streams of Parc National de la Mauricie. Sweepers, switchbacks, it's got it all. There is a pass required of about $8.00, which is good for the day. And that's nice if you choose to ride this route twice, which we did. We stayed at Hotel Gouverneur in Shawinigan, which was excellent value. And ate at Le Trou du diable - Broue Pub et Restaurant. This is a sixty second walk from the hotel, and is very enjoyable. Especially if you enjoy trying different beers. A combination of a very good ride, and staying in Shawinigan, made this a 5-star ride the whole way.
