Absolutely a beautiful ride. Hard to keep your eyes on the road. Good roads but watch speed, especially leading into, and leaving Califon (short for Cailifornia). Stay at or below posted speed.

Motorcycle Type : Sport - Touring

A nice short ride through some NJ farms and smaller towns. Nice winding roads up and down some small mountains/hills. Overall this is a great short ride but there is one stretch where the road gets a bit janky with a lot of potholes that have been filled very poorly and unevenly. The first 10 miles are great newly paved roads followed by about 5 miles of the shaky stuff. The final 5 is good just low speed limit. Overall this is a nice ride. Unfortunately for me, I happened to go o a Saturday afternoon in mid-July with 90-degree weather so there were a lot of cars slowing things down in addition to many horse trailers and landscape trucks. I'll hit this one again on an early Sunday morning in September.
