Love doing this ride. Take the Powder Point Rd it is well worth the extra time. We also continue past up to Campbell River. Great ocean views. Depending on time of year traffic can be bad. Don't forget your camera

If you have time, go further north from Comox to Gold River. The road between Campbell River and Gold River is a treat. Paved, clean, curvy all the way and few cars. You will be happy that you have to come back the same way you went. A road I do every summer.
