Good road conditions, great rolling hills and scenery not typical for Arizona. Light traffic makes it even more enjoyable, aside from the occasional RV.

A great ride through some beautiful, and historic areas of southern Arizona. Tombstone is a fun place to visit, but to stop and take a load off, I'd suggest going to Bisbee. Just as historic, but less tourist trappy. There are also some good vineyards around Sonoita that are always good for a rest break as well.

Took this in the late afternoon and pretty much had the road to ourselves. Sweeping well maintained desert roads. We got to Tombstone at sunset. Enjoyed the atmosphere of the main drag. Headed to Bisbee to stay in a 1950's travel trailer park, Shady Dells. That was right out of the twilight zone. The trailer we had was lovely, but the bed said 1950. The hotel clerk wore his fez and bathrobe night and day. The red-headed bob on the lady who lived in the back was real, and so was her emerald car. Lovely! If you plan to go to the Queen Mine, call well ahead for tickets. We called early morning, and the first tickets were afternoon. We didn't go; the road was calling.
