I live 30 minutes from Flowery Trail and you are correct, it ROCKS. To complete the ride, stay north on Hwy 395 to Hwy 25 north into Northport. On the north end of Northport, go east on Deep Lake Boundary Road. It skirts the Canadian Border and overlooks the Columbia River. It is a fantastic rides that the locals that is not to be missed. It loops around back to Hwy 395 at Colville.

This road had been upgraded since I'd been through last, I believe since the prior review. I could go back and forth over the pass all day long. Amazing ride.

Dont tell anyone else about this ride, although its hard to believe it would ever be crowded. They are currently doing repaving on the Usk end which is quite lumpy, so take care coming down that way.
Everything else said about this ride is spot on. It's a great way to move from east to west and vice versa

Some of the oldest and most interesting rock formations in the region cast a long rust-colored shadow on one of the nicest roads in the Inland Empire of the Pacific Northwest. Flowery Trail is an E/W gateway to the undiscovered Pend Oreille County; a natural gem. A fabulous loop would find a rider headed west from Pend Oreille County over Flowery Trail, then north from Chewelah to Colville on 395; then East on Highway 20 back to Pend Oreille County. And then having enjoyed the second best road (Tiger Pass) in the region, you may just want to spend the rest of your life in the region. Pend Oreille County is known to wildlife biologists as "The Zoo" for the abundance and diversity of watchable wildlife and birdlife. Plus? Not a single traffic light in the entire county, and only about 12,500 residents.

This is a nice road ,sweeping curves for the most part. Ride through once to verify that there is not livestock, winter sand or gravel. this road is fun not too challenging but beutiful and has little traffic

One of the best 27 mile sweeping rides I've been on if you don't mind breaking the speed limit a little.

Awesome road. I found it last year when the construction was just being completed. Nice wide sweepers on the west side of the summit are great fun. I was "whoopin'" in my helmet! I went back this year and rode it again, leading a group. Some thought it was still dirt in places. I told them "Nope, it's paved now. Follow me!" I will include Flowery Trail Road in future rides to the eastern part of our great state for riding.

The Flowery Trail Road is great but I rated it a 9 because of the low speed limits. Even though the locals abuse them greatly...

Wonderful ride in the summer on a warm, sunny day which was my experience. Excellent scenery and it was a good way to get from Colville over to Sandpoint, ID as well.
