This was a nice ride overall. The views along the Deleware river are beautiful and the view from Roadies is amazing. Some of the roads are a bit rough around Stroudsburg. Other than that, I was very happy with this ride. I would definitely like to do it again, perhaps as the leaves are changing. Also, make sure you get directions to Roadies if you wish to go, since it is not right off of 209. You have to go out of town on 903 to get to Maury Rd. It is totally worth the extra few miles though.

An option along this route, at the Pennsylvania Welcome Center in the town of Delaware Water Gap, take River Road 2-miles north to the Minisink Hotel. The tavern, a biker destination on weekends, displays: a 1" dia. x 4" treenail (wooden peg); an adze formed wooden post; and, part of a stone wall-- all from the original 1742 structure.

this route was very a nice ride, a little bit of everything. We started at almost the end point. We started a Keystone Harley in Perryville and went south on 248 to 22 east and picked up 611, you do really have to watch the signs for 611. lots of other bikers on this loop. At the finish Roadies had good food and cheap. This is a leisurely, all told about 4 hours.

At the Crossings Shopping Mall in Tannersville, take Camelback Rd. past Camelback Mt. Waterpark and ascend the mountain to the summit and Big Pocono State Park. The impressive panoramic view @ summit include both the Delaware Water Gap and Wind Gap on the distant horizon.

Did this ride with my lady. 200 miles from my door to door. Some side tracking was involved but this was a great ride from beginning to end.

Gorgeous scenery throughout the whole ride, nice variety of curves from sweepers to switchbacks, lots of places to stop for scenery and tourism.
