From Loa to Green River - By GJRonK

Only the section between the San Rafael Swell and Green River is open desert--hot and fairly straight. The rest of the route along I-70 is desert, but has numerous views of sedamentary rock layers which are quite colorful. Once south of the interstate, the road has fun sections of turns and scenery.
