Talimena National Scenic Byway - By Richard L. Thompson

Recently rode this route while visiting Arkansas. It was an enjoyable ride. Typical mountain road with many elevation changes and switchbacks while climbing up and over the terrain. Since this is not a regular Traffic road, but just a Scenic Byway, the road is Not well maintained. The road surface from the Arkansas State line over to Sunset Point Vista (about 11 miles) was really rough. Otherwise a Nice twisty road. If you are in the area, definitely Ride it.
