Natchez Trace Parkway - By Freed-71

I was a little disappointed, I started at the north end in Tennessee. I ate at the Loveless cafe before the ride, it was Wednesday morning, August 20, 2021, just as the covid lockdown was getting rolling. The first 30 miles or so, were great, after that, the roads straightened out, and it wasn't anything real special. There are a ton of historical stops along the way, but I was there to ride. I guess I had expected some huge nature preserve, I was disappointed, when I could see peoples backyards thru the trees, less than 100 yards off the road. Another thing was that, it is supposed to be closed to commercial traffic, yet I met several Semi truck and trailers. Over all though it was okay, I may go again, now that covid is over, to see if it's any better.
