Coronado Trail - By Dr.Alexander

In my opinion this is the finest motorcycle road in the country. I've ridden it many times and it presents a challenge even for the skilled rider. At the beginning there is a sign that reads.....no police services for the next 85 miles......good with me. Note, this road is not for beginner riders. I posted the a map of the loop you should ride in the photos section. My suggestion is at least a two night stay in Alpine AZ. There is a hidden gem of a hotel-lodge called the Tal Wi Wi in Alpine. I recommend the updated rooms with a hot tub. This is a good 4 star establishment and watching the elk in the morning is an added bonus. Many riders profess the Dragon as the ultimate destination, but I assure you it can't compare to the devils highway 191. 191 is a highly technical ride that is isolated with very few cars if any. No cell service either. Try not to ride it alone. Watch for animals. Enjoy!
