Written Directions

Take US 30 E out of Greensburg heading to Latrobe / Ligonier Turn Right at Fort Ligonier onto PA -711S Continue on PA- 711S Into Donegal, PA Turn Right onto 31 W for Mt Pleasant Continue through to PA 119 Follow PA 119 North to Greensburg PA Total Trip 52 Miles 1hr16mins

Scenery

This route is an enjoyable mix between back roads and highway. Using only well marked state and us Routes makes this route easy to follow. Traffic flow is low on routs 30, 711 and 31 once you get outside of Latrobe. The beautiful country setting of RT 711 into Donegal and RT 30 Into Ligonier.

Drive Enjoyment

Roads are mostly backroads with a few potholes however the turns and beautiful scenery make up for the road conditions. Roads are better than that of down town Greensburg and many other local towns.

Tourism Opportunities

Turning right onto RT 31 in Donigal is where the food is amazing. Historical site of Fort Ligonier.

Pure Cruiser. There is nothing remotely fun or exciting about this route. It is all on the scenery and just getting out to get out. That's not me putting the route down, that's just me pointing out that if you want excitement look elsewhere. If you want to clear your head this is probably a good place to do it. Watch the cars on 30 though.
