Written Directions

Take your best route to the intersection of MO-47 and Hwy A (Independence Dr.) in Union, MO. Head west on Hwy A for 0.4 miles. Take the first exit at the roundabout to continue on Hwy A. Follow Hwy A for 7.5 miles to the intersection with MO-100 in Washington, MO.

Scenery

The route goes through the "suburbs" of the Union/Washington "metroplex". The road travels past houses, small businesses, and small farms, in a partly wooded area of east central Missouri.

Drive Enjoyment

The route is mostly curvy and hilly, with most curves in the 35-50 MPH range. The road is rolled asphalt for most of the length.

Tourism Opportunities

Both Union and Washington have numerous shops and restaurants. The riverfront on the Missouri River in Washington is definitely worth a visit.

This route is a nice alternative to the more heavily travelled MO-47 for getting between Union and Washington.
