Written Directions

Running south from #118, just west of Cardiff. This road runs south to Silent Lake Provincial Park.

Scenery

This 10 km road winds through forest, surrounded on both sides by rivers and streams. You will encounter very little, if any, traffic.

Drive Enjoyment

Wonderful, winding road. A few gentle twisties, especially towards the south end. The pavement is very good, but watch for dirt in the Spring.

Tourism Opportunities

There are no amenities at all along this road. However, there are lovely places to pull over and go for a short hike.

After many years of riding Ontario roads, I thought I knew most of the fun roads. I never gave Dyno Road a second thought, which I now regret. Between Bancroft to the east and Gooderham to the west, joining hwys 118 and 28. The second half of the road is particularly curved, and is fun to ride.
