It's hard to beat the interior of BC for beauty. I'd suggest taking this route beyond Kaslo, all the way to Nakusp. This is where the excitement takes hold. Highway 31A from Kaslo west to New Denver is about 50 kms of motorcycle heaven. Good pavement, minimal traffic, sweepers, twists and turns. Forests, mountain glaciers, lakes and streams.
