This was a great ride! The beginning parts near Albany are a bit congested but once you get past the city, the views are great, the roads are in good shape, lots of curves and 55mph zones.
As the other review mentions, watch for police near Thatcher (I counted 6 total on my two trips through) and for slow farm tractors as well. Otherwise, it's wide open and a lot of fun. There is also a small park just to the left of the end of the trip in Schoharie that is a good place to regroup (or reset the GPS to head back along the same route like I did).
