Scenery
These county roads follow the La Plata river all the way from Durango to Farmington. Twisties, great asphalt, incredible scenery. You'll wish you brought your fishing gear!
Drive Enjoyment
Fairly new asphalt. A few DANGEROUS decreasing radius curves you REALLY need to slow down for. Take this road EASY the first time you ride it and survive Deadman's Curve.
Tourism Opportunities
The scenery is all this route's got other than one farm/produce stand. No roadhouses, groceries, etc. But anything you need is in Aztec.
Motorcycle Road Additional info
At rush hour this beautiful, scenic back route is often FASTER than 550 through innumerable stoplights / traffic in Aztec and north Farmington.
