Written Directions

I rode up over the Peel's Ferrry from Arkansas on Hwy 160 going towards Reuter. I made a right onto Hwy 125 going towards Bradleyville, Mo. I saw these signs saying "Biker's Rest Stop" and thought I'd give it a try. I rode for about 12 miles along the beautiful roads before I came to her place. The lady is on 20 acres in the Mark Twain Forest, on Eldridge Rd., right off Hwy 125 in Bradleyville. She's got a great BBQ set up, with a huge grill to feed up to 100 people, a nice pavillion with picnic tables too. We ate steak, corn on the cob and baked beans. As we were eating, we saw three deer come up into her back pasture, one coyote walking in and out of the tree line and about 12 turkeys walking around. It's a great place to relax and take a rest! She said on October 8, 2010, she'll be holding a Bradleyville Biker's BBQ in the north field. She's a start up for now, but I really think this place is going to take off soon! Her web site: https://www.bikerornot.com/bikertownameria.

Scenery

Great farms, hilltop views, curvy roads, Glade Top Trail, some watering holes, mostly bikers on road not automobiles.

Drive Enjoyment

Excellent road to ride on - great pavement!

Tourism Opportunities

I found this great little place along the way only marked with "Biker Rest Stop" signs - great BBQ and cold beverages - a great place to relax and stretch - right on Eldridge Rd., across from Hwy DD in Bradleyville. The lady wants to make her 20 acres into a motorcycle resort - she's a start up and is offering rustic camping, BBQ, rest rooms and a place to park your RV. She'll be holding a Bikers - BBQ - in Bradleyville event on Oct. 8, 2010. Her web site is: https://www.bikerornot.com/BikerTownAmerica. She's opened now on the weekends only. She'll be opened all hunting season too! Very quiet - I saw deer, coyotes and turkeys in her back pasture! Give her a try - it's by RSVP or look for the signs.

I rode this from south (entering AR-125 from MC-2059 just south of Peel) to north during the 2021 Riding the Ozarks HOG Rally. While the day was cool (low 60s dropping during the afternoon into the upper 40s) and wet (off and on light rain), the route is a great ride, and the views on Bull Shoals from the Peel Ferry are spectacular. While the posted route stops at Bradleyville, MO, MO-125 continues on as a good curvy road further north to Sparta.

The road is freshly paved. Travel from Kansas City to Fayetville Arkansas(Bikers, Blues and BBQ)... Picked up this route from Ozark Mo South to the Ferry across Bull Shoals lake. The road is freshly paved so the conditions are perfect. There was very little traffic, that was easily passed when you wanted to.

Lots of great twisties with some immediate drops of elevations.

Our approach to the road turned it into our personal roller coaster. When we soften the pace we were treated to some beautiful scenery.

Great bluffs, cliffs and thick forest.

Crossing Bull Shoals via the Ferry was pretty cool as well. Then continued south through Arkansas.

Very fun ride.

The Missouri section is one of the best roads in the state. Great tarmac, nice banked, high speed sweepers and tight curves.
