Blue Ridge to Ellijay - By Guest

While I have not done the Highway 74 portion, the trip across Fort Mountain alone is worth a trip. Take note you can change the difficulty based on the direction of travel. It is an easier trip from Chattsworth to Ellijay and therefore more challenging from Ellijay to Chattsworth. Plenty of safe overlooks on the Chattsworth side and truly breathtaking during the fall. So if you have time, hit it up both directions!
