Rode in one day from Fort Collins back to Fort Collins. pre-rode Poudre River Canyon the night before. Highly recommend this route,, great variety from canyon riding, open plains and finalize with the rockies. July brings afternoon showers and the last part in to Estes Park and thru Rocky Mountain Nat. Park was not fun. Had rain, ice pellets, hail, and lightning, while going over the top.. bit of ice on road, made it a little hairy. Once I came down into Estes, the weather cleared and the trip thru Big Thompson Canyon was scenic, but at the end of a long day, a bit of a grind... this route is
well worth riding!!
