I lived in this area 30 years ago, but never rode my motorcycle on this particular highway.
My wife and I entered this hyw out of Red Bluff, Ca and we were so delighted by the memory and beauty of it.
We stopped several time along the way to take in the summit elevations views.
There is a jct at Wildwood where a gentleman is re establishing an old restaurant that burnt down several years ago.
It is primary just a barista for now but a must stop and visit the owner and staff, they were a delight and are bikers as well.
The Redwoods were amazing and soulful.
We finished our ride for the day in Eureka, Ca and took Hyw 299 to Redding, which is another fantastic ride which brings you to some ry quaint towns for great food and people.
