The ride was well worth it even though it takes a serious effort to get there. Some of the write ups include going on up to Candelaria and some show returning to Marfa out of Ruidosa but this is a gravel road. The best part is from Terlingua to Ojinaga. I would not waist my time going to Candelaria. The run from Alpine to Terlingua at sunrise showed the desert at its best.
