Written Directions

Start in Charlottesville and head northeast on VA 20/US 250 to Orange, VA. Then go south on US 15 to Gordonsville, VA. Then get on 231 in Gordonsville, and continue south to where route 22 takes over (when 231 meets route 22) and continue heading south on route 22 down to the routes end point at the intersection of US 250.

Scenery

Travel on "The Constitution Route" through beautiful Albemarle and Orange Counties. Wonderful scenery, moderately windy roads through historic country side. You can cover this route in just over an hour but why would you want to. With BBQ and beer at several points along the way.

Drive Enjoyment

Excellent road quality a few good twisties.

Tourism Opportunities

BBQ Exchange, Gordonsville, Wise Guys Burgers, Orange VA, Lazy Parrot for an after ride brew.

Motorcycle Road Additional info

For an alternate, get on US 15 in Gordonsville and go south to VA route 22

These roads are nice but too much car traffic, and they've been lowering the speed limit too. I gave it three stars due to the amount of slow moving car traffic I often encounter, and the lack of passing zones.
