It is Ohio state route 39 from Mansfield to New Philadelphia Ohio. It can be reached from I-77 at new Philadelphia, go north on 39. It can be reached from state route 30 in Mansfield go south on state route 39.

Scenery

Many Amish farms and their horses and cattle. Many people traveling on their horse and buggies. Rolling hills and pasture fields.

Drive Enjoyment

Hilly and curvy roads, some very sharp, 35 mph. turns. A few straight stretches of main highway. Really hilly and curvy at other times (ie. side roads).

Tourism Opportunities

Shopping at Amish stores, Amish cheese factories, several, where their full lines of cheese are for sale. Great restaurants that serve delicious Amish food family style.

I do this ride about twice a month to see relatives. Very enjoyable ride even after all of these times. Great scenery and fun roads. Hills, curves, stretches, etc.

This is a beautiful sight-filled ride. Be careful not to get lost in the sights as it is also has plenty of blind hills and lots of curves to enjoy. There are Amish shops along the way, cheese shops and wineries near New Philly. I would recommend stopping in Loudonville's downtown area and eating at the West Main Cafe...not your typical country eats. Overall, a really nice ride.

This is a nice road, very easy riding without many challenging bits. The scenery is mostly open fields with minimal wooded area. If you are trying to avoid traffic you'll find the stretch between Millersburg and Dover disappointing at certain times. The question is why stop in Dover? East of I-77 between Dover and Wellsville is the best part.
