Written Directions

The suggested starting point is in Raleigh North Carolina at the Crabtree Valley Mall. From Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh, take Hwy 50 (Creedmore Rd) North approximately 15 miles to Hwy 98, continue under Hwy 98 on Hwy 50 for approximately 5 more miles, after you cross Falls Lake keep a look out for Old Weaver Trail on the right hand side, take a right, crack it open, and hang on!

Scenery

This drag strip runs along Falls Lake and offers a beautiful vista of the "Beaver Dam Lake" recreation area. The bridge, for which this route is named, is surrounded by wetlands that provide habitat for a wide range of North Carolina wildlife.

Drive Enjoyment

This run is a nice, straight, slowly descending road from atop a hill, which flattens out from the middle to the end. It is about 1-2 miles, straight, smooth, clean, and very fast. It is a safe road to "crack it open" because of the lay out to observe upcoming traffic.

Tourism Opportunities

This is a short blast for speed (within the speed limit, of course); this is the place to bury the needle. There is not a thing in the area, except wide open road.

Good short run with views of Falls lake. Some traffic and starting to develop more.
