Written Directions

Take 95 north out of Las Vegas, make left on Kyle Canyon(1.5 miles north of the Horse Dr off ramp)Follow Kyle Canyon all the way to the Mount Charleston Lodge. Once done there, follow Kyle Canyon back down. Turn left onto NV-158 N/Deer Creek Rd (signs for Lee Canyon). Deer Creek will end at Lee Canyon, make a right. Follow Lee canyon untill you hit the 95. Follow 95 South to return to Las Vegas

Scenery

While traveling through Kyle and Lee canyon you will have views of Mount Charleston and many of the the other peaks around. You will also get a great sense of leaving a desert and entering mountains and forest. The smell of the pines and cooler weather really take your mind away from the big desert city.

Drive Enjoyment

The kyle and lee canyon roads are well maintained and I have never had any issues. Deer Creek on the other hand winds through cut hills and there has been loose rock and dirt on the pavement so make sure you have a clear view of the turn before you commit. The road has a lot of nice twists and turns as you through and down the mountain.

Tourism Opportunities

The Mount Charelston Lodge has some good food and a nice atmosphere. The views from the dining ares are very nice. *edit* rode it again today, confirmed that there were no fuel stations. Also noticed a few ticket givers so keep your speeds in check. There are a few camp sites and cabins if you feel like staying the night.

Motorcycle Road Additional info

Make sure to fill up at Durango and 95, I do not remember any gas stations on the loop.I would also suggest making a left at Lee Canyon and going up to the Ski Lodge there are some amazing views but isn't considered part of the normal loop with the people I ride with. *edit* I noticed today that there a few off road trails for you adventure types.
