Starts a bit north of Severn Bridge off Hwy 11. Known as Southwood Road or Muskoka Road 13. Ends at Torrance on Hwy 169.
Scenery
Route through forest cottage country. The ride is known for curves and twisties not the scenery.
Drive Enjoyment
Most of the road is in very good shape and recently paved. There are very small sections of sand. Be careful and slow down crossing 2 sets of railway tracks
Tourism Opportunities
Continue north on 169 into Bala for large choice of amenities, fuel, food and water falls.
Motorcycle Road Additional info
To be included in a larger ride through Muskoka cottage county.
This is arguably the best twisty road in Ontario. Just watch for sand early in the year. Otherwise, a great road.

A 42 km ride. The north section is possibly the twistiest road Canada has to offer. Careful of sand in the Spring and leaves in the Fall. And slow-moving cottage traffic at all times. No amenities, as you are literally riding through a forest. Great ride, highly recommended. And the Bala Bay Inn in Bala, just north of Southwood Road, is a fun place to chow down. And gas is nearby.

I rode this on July 17, 2020. This would be a great road of but for the broken pavement and construction. Beware of the gravel in the corners. Definitely not a nighttime ride! I think the construction is to upgrade culverts, so one day of they repave this road I would consider raising the rating from 3.
