Written Directions

Highway 40 from Longview, AB to Seebe, AB.

Scenery

Amazing Mountain Views. Almost no man-made structures. Make sure to stop at the top of the Highwood Pass.

Drive Enjoyment

Mostly fresh pavement. Some bridges still under repair. Expect ~1km of gravel. Closed December 1 - June 14

Tourism Opportunities

Very few. Boundary Ranch is good for BBQ.

fantastic scenery in the middle of the Rocky Mountains; one gas station near the top; access to a ski lodge all year round.

Lovely, quiet road travelling through western Alberta. Ranches and farms make up a lot of the scenery. Road in fairly good shape. Very few amenities.
