Written Directions

This road begins about 5 miles south of Jasper, AR along Hwy 7. It connects Hwy 7 to Hwy 123 through twisty curves, steep areas and very little traffic. Is a great lead into the Arkansas Dragon, which begins just south of Vendor, at Mt Judea.

Scenery

This route leads you through the beautiful "Arkansas Grand Canyon". With a steep decline from Hwy 7 providing great views as you descend. There are several streams alongside the road.

Drive Enjoyment

This road has a lot of sweeping curvers, twisties and elevation changes.

Tourism Opportunities

No amenities. Just farms and open space.

Typical Arkansas forest area route. Green scenery everywhere, little traffic, good road surface, nice curves. Fun route.

I almost found this by accident, when trying to cut across from AR-7 to AR-123. It's a short road (7 miles), but a long downhill as it's downhill the entire length of the route. Going east-to-west, that v-twin is getting it's workout most of the way up. Going west-to-east, you can't really ride it fast as you'll pick up too much speed. Basically a mix of coasting and riding the engine braking most of the way.

Just north of 374 on AR-7 is a scenic overlook, on the left heading south. It's a great place to get a preview of what's to see on 374. Road quality a solid 3.5-4. Just enough curves and hills to keep you honest. Very enjoyable run!
