Road Scenery:
|
From Lake Isabella it's rolling hills and beautiful. Once into Sequoia N.M. it gets extremely busy and tight in the trees. This is quite easily the most entertaining road I have ever been on. Huge, old trees, a few look-off on the descent. |

Road Quality: |
Extremely twisty, huge elevation drop 7000' to the valley floor. Constant switchbacks, and twisties. I was actually looking for a break on the descent as it was so challenging on my big, loaded bike. Big drop offs, and big blind curves in the N.M. - gotta be on your toes.
This is a must ride if you're within 200 miles of this area!!!

Porterville and Lake Isabella are your only points to fill up. It's fairly remote. |
